Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using OpsBuilder software or the OpsBuilder hosted service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software or the service. OpsBuilder is provided by Optimatech Labs LLC ("we", "us").

2. Description of service

OpsBuilder generates software tools from natural-language descriptions for investigative, security, and compliance professionals. It is available as software you install on your own infrastructure and as a hosted service operated by us.

3. License

Subject to these terms and payment of the applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Install and use OpsBuilder on your authorized systems, or use your hosted workspace
  • Generate and use tools created with OpsBuilder
  • Modify generated code for your internal purposes

4. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell OpsBuilder
  • Reverse engineer the software, except where the law permits it
  • Remove or alter proprietary notices
  • Use the software or the service for unlawful purposes

5. Generated content

You own the tools and code generated with OpsBuilder. We claim no rights to them. You are responsible for reviewing generated code and confirming it is suitable for your intended use before relying on it.

6. Hosted service

You are responsible for the accounts you create for your team and for the data you upload. We may suspend a workspace that is used in breach of these terms. You can export your workspace at any time.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

OpsBuilder is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of OpsBuilder.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of OpsBuilder or your breach of these terms.

10. Updates and support

Updates and support are provided according to your agreement with us. We may change features in future releases.

11. Termination

We may terminate your license or workspace if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using the software and destroy all copies, or stop using the hosted service.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes

We may modify these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
